October 27, Fineko/abc.az. Algeria has sent an invitation to Azerbaijani oil and gas companies to participate in international tender "Algeria Bid Round 2026", which includes seven blocks for exploration.

According to the Ministry of Hydrocarbons of Algeria, negotiations took place in Moscow within the 28th Ministerial Meeting of the Forum of Gas Exporting Countries (GECF) during the meeting of the Minister of State of Algeria, Head of the Hydrocarbon Structure Mohammed Arkab with the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov.

The participants of negotiations analyzed the current level of bilateral relations between Algeria and Azerbaijan in the hydrocarbon industry and discussed ways to strengthen and expand partnership.
