October 26, Fineko/abc.az. Over the past 9 months Azerbaijan exported 8.9 million tons of crude oil to Italy.

The State Customs Committee informs that the value of this volume of products reached $5.51 billion. Compared with Jan-Sept 2025, the volume of exports decreased by 7.4%, while its value increased by 10.4%.

The share of crude oil exported to Italy in Azerbaijan's overall oil exports made up 56.1%.

According to customs declarations, for Jan-Sept 2026, Azerbaijan exported 15.829 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products obtained from bituminous rocks, with total value of $10.103 billion.

Azerbaijan carried out trade operations with foreign countries for $37.211 billion for Jan-Sept 2026, including exports for $23.865 billion and imports for $13.346 billion.
