October 26, Fineko/abc.az. In Azerbaijan, 1.248 billion manats of premiums were gathered through 16 insurance companies for Jan-Sept 2026 (7.9% more versus the 2025 same term).

According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the amount of compensation payments made by insurance companies totaled 882.723 million manats (29.1% more than a year ago).

For the past 9 months, an average of 70.7 manats was paid for every 100 manats of insurance premiums (59.1 manats for Jan-Sept 2025).

Over Jan-Sept 2025, the volume of insurance premiums amounted to 1.157 million manats and compensation payments -  683.896 million manats.
