October 27, Fineko/abc.az. The creation of new parks, squares and forest park areas continues in Baku.

ABC.AZ reports that a new park is going to appear in Nasimi district on the territory of a former carriage repair company located between 28 May Street and The Ritz-Carlton Baku Hotel.

The area of the future recreation area will be nearly 10 hectares.

The project was developed jointly by foreign and local architects. To unite the territory into a single space, the section of road on Huseyn Rasulbekov Street, which now divides it into two parts, will be moved to the northwestern border of the park.

A pedestrian bridge will also be built at the intersection of 28 May and Huseyn Rasulbekov streets, which will provide access to the park.

An underground parking lot is currently under construction. According to the project, the park provides for the construction of artificial reservoirs, an amphitheater, tennis courts, playgrounds and sports areas.

Special paths will be paved with granite and decorative stone for walking and cycling.

As part of the landscaping, thousands of trees and shrubs will be planted in the park, as well as flower arrangements will be created.
