October 27, Fineko/abc.az. According to the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection of the Population, disability was established for 39,900 people for Jan-Sept 2026.

The disability was established for the first time for 16,300 people and repeatedly for 23,600 people.

Rehabilitation services were also rendered to 115,000 people.

The State Social Protection Fund paid a total of 1.692 billion manats to 1.129 million people in the form of benefits and pensions (951 million manats - benefits, 609 million manats - presidential pensions, 132 million manats - social insurance benefits).

These payments increased by 10%, 11% and 4% year-on-year, respectively.

In addition, the funds allocated for the payment of pensions increased by 10% up to 5.874 billion manats. As of October 1, the average monthly pension in the country was 596 manats.
