October 27, Fineko/abc.az. According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, banks operating in the country received 344.4 million manats of earnings from commissions and fees for Jan-Sept 2026.

This figure is 8.2%, or 26 million manats, higher than the result for the 2025 same term. In the first 9 months of 2025, the commission income of the banking sector amounted to 318.4 million manats.

Over Jan-Sept 2026, the financial indicators of the banking sector also showed high growth rates.

Banks' operating profit totaled 1.697 billion manats and retained net profit reached 1.8 billion manats.

In turn, the banks transferred a total of 270.8 million manats to the State Budget as income tax on the income received.
