October 21, Fineko/abc.az. The European Union is actively working to attract European private investment into strategic sectors of Azerbaijan’s economy, particularly renewable energy, EU Ambassador to Azerbaijan Marijana Kujundžić stated at the EU-Azerbaijan Business Forum in Baku.

The Ambassador highlighted that a predictable business environment and a level playing field are essential for European companies. Two rounds of negotiations have already taken place in Brussels and Baku to advance these efforts. Kujundžić noted that while Azerbaijan remains a crucial energy supplier via the Southern Gas Corridor, bilateral cooperation is rapidly expanding into wind energy and the green transition.
