October 19, Fineko/abc.az. The export of tomatoes from Azerbaijan increased in value terms, despite a slight decline in physical supplies for Jan-Sept 2026.

According to the State Customs Committee, the statistical value of tomato exports in the first 9 months of 2026 reached $172.34 million (9.6% more against Jan-Sept 2025 - $157.17 million).

At that, the physical volume of exports fell by 0.6%, from 144,029.41 tons for Jan-Sept 2025 to 143,137.68 tons for Jan-Sept 2026.

In Azerbaijan's overall exports, the share of tomatoes decreased from 0.84% for Jan-Sept 2025 to 0.72% for Jan-Sept 2026.

The share of tomatoes in exports of the non-oil sector also dropped, from 5.93% to 2.59%, respectively.
