October 15, Fineko/abc.az. According to the Financial Times, US officials met with representatives from Ukraine, the EU, NATO, France, Germany, and the UK in Miami last week.

During the talks, the US side proposed partially releasing frozen Russian assets in Europe to reignite peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.

Under proposals presented by US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, Russian funds would first be transferred to a new US-supervised financial structure. However, European representatives rejected the proposal. US officials noted that mechanisms regarding the frozen funds are being evaluated as part of a potential comprehensive peace agreement.
