October 15, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st half of this year, the assets of Azerbaijan's financial sector increased by 7%.

The director of the Financial Stability Department of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, Atakhan Hasanov, made the relevant statement at a press conference held in connection with the semi-annual Financial Stability Report of the Department.

He noted that after the mentioned growth in the sector, financial assets reached 64.9 bn manats. This means 50% of the gross domestic product.
