October 9, Fineko/abc.az. Butterfly Effect, the parent company of Chinese AI startup Manus, announced via WeChat that it has raised over $500 million in its latest funding round. The round was co-led by Boyu Capital and IDG Capital, with participation from existing shareholders including Tencent, HSG, and ZhenFund. Previous reports indicated that the company was in talks for a valuation of $4 billion.

The company, which is reportedly considering an initial public offering (IPO) in Hong Kong, plans to use the new funds to expand its recruitment both domestically and internationally.
