October 9, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani embassies abroad will also participate in the military registration of conscripts and those liable for military service.

In this regard, the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan has made appropriate changes to the Rules of military registration of conscripts and military personnel.

Currently, military registration of conscripts and those liable for military service is conducted by state bodies, including consular offices, local executive authorities and local self-government bodies, as well as enterprises, institutions and organizations operating in Azerbaijan, regardless of their form of ownership and organizational and legal form. This applies to legal entities established in accordance with the legislation of Azerbaijan or foreign countries, as well as their branches and representative offices, including educational institutions.

Accounting is carried out for the purpose of recruiting the personnel of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan and other armed formations established in accordance with the legislation of Azerbaijan.
