October 7, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2026, finances for totally 254.453 million manats were returned from the State Budget to individuals and legal entities.

The returned funds relate to the refund of VAT paid by individuals for goods they bought in the retail and catering sectors, cultural (theater, cinema, museum, concert), medical services, including hotel services in the territories liberated from occupation, as well as for the purchase of goods by foreigners in the country that do not have production facilities and for commercial purposes.

In addition, part of the VAT paid for residential and non-residential premises purchased from persons engaged in construction activities was refunded, subject to non-cash payment, as well as other overpaid taxes, state duty, interest and financial penalties.
