October 8, Fineko/abc.az. Fitch Solutions predicts that in 2026 and 2027 the budget of the public administration sector of Azerbaijan will be executed with surplus.

According to company's report on the economy of Azerbaijan, the budget surplus of Azerbaijan's public administration sector is expected to make up 2.4% of GDP in 2026 and 2.2% of GDP in 2027.

The company noted that budget revenues exceeding the projected figures at the end of 2025 and the 1st half of 2026 led to significant improvement in the country's fiscal prospects.
