October 14, Fineko/abc.az. Operational figures from the Ministry of Energy show that OJSC Azarenerji generated 18,233.4 million kWh of electricity from January through September 2026, while independent power producers generated 2,957.5 million kWh.

Azerenerji’s output comprised 15,434.8 million kWh from thermal plants, 2,753.1 million kWh from hydro plants, and 45.5 million kWh from solar generation.

During the nine-month period, Azerbaijan exported 301.6 million kWh of electricity, while electricity imports stood at 170.6 million kWh.
