September 30, Fineko/abc.az. At a meeting of the Milli Majlis held on September 30, the proposed amendments to the Law on Public Procurement were put to the vote and approved.

According to the updated standard, the Law on Public Procurement will not apply to purchases carried out by state-owned enterprises managed by state bodies, state-owned business entities and publicly owned entities, as well as organizations of which they are founders or participants, at the expense of special extra-budgetary financial resources.

The exclusion from the law does not apply to funds from the State Budget and the budget of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, budget loans, subsidies, loans under state guarantees, state grants and funds from extra-budgetary state funds.

New procurement rules for these legal entities will be determined by the relevant executive authority.
