Underground tunnel, through which fuel was illegally exported from Kazakhstan, discovered

December 27, Fineko/abc.az. The 450-m underground tunnel was found by law enforcement agencies on the Kazakh-Uzbek border, ABC.AZ informs, refering to the Prosecutor's Office of the Turkestan region of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

It supplied fuel contraband from Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan. About 5-7 tons of fuel were pumped through the tunnel every day.

This is not the first such tunnel dug. An underground passage of 300 m has already been found for the transfer of Indian medicines from Kazakhstan.
