October 20, Fineko/abc.az. The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) did not sell gold in the third quarter of 2026, keeping its reserves at the level of 178.1 tons.

As of October 1, the share of gold in SOFAZ's investment portfolio was 32.3%.

Compared to July 1, the share of the precious metal increased by 0.9 percentage points. As of October 1, 2025, it was 32.8%.

According to the parameters of SOFAZ’s investment portfolio approved for 2026, the share of the gold sub portfolio can reach 35% of its total value. At that, the maximum allowable deviation in the direction of increase is set at 4%.
