Meanwhile, the fixed-income sell-off extended as 10-year U.S. Treasury yields touched 5.32%, maintaining levels last seen in 2002. In commodities and forex markets, Brent crude hovered around $100.90 per barrel, gold slipped to $4,120 per ounce, and the euro remained under pressure near a 17-month low against the U.S. dollar due to ongoing European fiscal concerns.
