September 17, Fineko/abc.az. Direct air service between Azerbaijan and Mongolia will be launched in the near future.

Direct flights between the two countries could include flights from six Azerbaijani cities to three cities in Mongolia.

Speech is about Baku, Ganja, Nakhchivan, Lankaran, Gabala and Zagatala, as well as Ulaanbaatar, Khovda and Choibalsan.

Mongolian publications note that flights may start operating in the near future. Mongolian airlines will also receive the right to operate flights to six Azerbaijani cities.

The parties also agreed to appoint one or more airlines and allow cooperation in the form of code-sharing.

Today, the relevant committee of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan discussed an agreement on air service with Mongolia. The document will create a legal framework for passenger and cargo transportation, as well as baggage and mail transportation between the two countries.
